The Infiniti QX80 has been given a facelift and the full-size SUV will make its official debut at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show next week.
Car and Driver got a sneak peek at the updated 2018 Infiniti QX80 ahead of its unveiling in Dubai on November 14. It’s not an all-new model, but rather a refresh, that was first previewed by the QX80 Monograph Concept earlier this year at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The biggest change is the new front fascia, which updates the look to bring it more in line with other Infiniti models.
There are some other changes throughout the body, including redesigned running boards, liftgate, and rear bumper. The tail lights are new and, like the front end, have been redesigned to resemble the rest of Infiniti’s lineup.
Changes to the QX80’s interior are more modest, with a bit more luxury added such as new wood trim, stitching pattern on the seats, and larger rear entertainment screens. No major mechanical changes have been done to the SUV, but the Japanese automaker did add more noise insulation to make the cabin quieter.
Expect to learn full details about the refreshed 2018 Infiniti QX80 once it debuts next week in Dubai. It will head to dealerships this December.
