But the composed handling, smooth ride and reassuring brakes, along with a quick-reacting CVT that’s paired to the 182 hp (184 PS / 135 kW) and 176 lb-ft (238 Nm) of torque 2.5-liter engine, make the commute a joy.KBB recently went out in the new Forester, and found it to be "a special SUV-wagon kind of thing" that doesn’t disappoint.
