Acura TSX 2011 made its debut this week at L.A Show 2010 .
The changes to the four-door are limited to just a handful of aesthetic tweaks. The refresh includes an altered fascia and fog light surround, and new tail lamps are also part of the mix. Acura also threw in a fresh batch of wheel designs, including both 17- and 18-inch rollers, depending on trim level.
The xB RS 8.0 will begin arriving in dealerships later this month.
Toyota is planning to sell a plug-in hybrid car in the U.S., Japan and Europe in 2012, targeting sales of 50,000 vehicles a year at ¥3 million each without subsidies as it strengthens its green lineup to keep pace with growing competition.
Toyota's Executive Vice President Takeshi Uchiyamada said that Toyota is also planning to sell an electric vehicle in 2012 and not just in the U.S. as it had said before, but in Japan and Europe as well.
Carlos Ghosn, who leads Japan's Nissan Motor Co. and France's Renault SA, said he was optimistic that consumers will warm to electric cars as his companies take a major plunge into the zero-emission vehicles.
The automaker will continue selling the Honda Civic outside Japan.
The new model is named as the Lexus LX570 and is a powerful beast of a car. The powertrain has been upgraded and so has been the chassis which is now a twofold improvement over the previous versions.
