GRP-Tuned 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec Brings 345HP To SEMAAcura is heading to the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas where it will display a tuned 2019 RDX A-Spec, alongside other vehicles.
Modified by Graham Rahal Performance (GRP), a company founded last year by the Honda IndyCar driver Graham Rahal, the study puts out 345 hp (350 PS / 257 kW) and 370 lb-ft (502 Nm) of torque.The achieve those numbers, the factory 2.0-liter four-banger was equipped with a new turbocharger, intake and exhaust manifolds, and downpipe, in addition to the custom intercooler and intake setup, cat-back exhaust system and ECU remap. Output is being channeled to the car’s AWD system, although Acura has yet to release any performance specs.Other mods include the custom Eibach sport springs that lower the ride height by 2 inches (51 mm), and six-piston brakes from StopTech.Also Read: First Drive: 2019 Acura NSX Proves Itself At The TrackThe 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec is finished in Apex Blue Pearl, has custom carbon side mirror caps and grille accents, body-color painted lower garnish and 21-inch rims from HRE, shod in 265/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.Inside, it benefits from carbon fiber accents, black leather sport seats with Ultrasuede accents and custom steering wheel designed by racing driver Max Papis of MPI Innovations. Special exterior and interior graphics round up the list of updates.Arriving from the Monterey Car Week where it debuted in August, the 2019 Acura NSX will be present at SEMA with its new Thermal Orange Pearl hue.Joining it will be a range of accessories for the 2019 ILX, including front and rear underbody spoilers, satin silver side mirror covers, 18-inch black alloy wheels and special accents inside.Building upon the NSX GT3, the Acura NSX GT3 Evo will be displayed at the brand’s stand too, with modified carbon fiber bodywork, new turbochargers, improved ABS, and upgraded Bosch display and data-logging unit. Current NSX GT3 owners can turn their cars into the Evo-spec through Variant Supply.Showcasing Acura’s recent motorsport success will be the hill-climb-conquering TLX GT and ARX-05 Daytona Prototype.
