The most humble offering costs €399 ($447) in Germany and breathes new life into the 1.8-liter, turbocharged engine, giving it 43 PS (42 hp / 31 kW) and 67 Nm (49 lb-ft) of torque more. However, it’s the Stage 2 that you’ll want to consider, as it lifts the output to 304 PS (300 hp / 224 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, for a modest €699 ($783).

With the software upgrades up and running, RaceChip promises improved fuel efficiency of up to 15 percent in the most agile variant, along with a 2-year engine warranty, albeit limited to €10,000 ($11,205), and a warm-up timer. The smartphone controlled app is a €50 ($56) option. The lesser variant has a 1-year engine warranty up to €3,000 ($3,361), and is said to improve the fuel economy by up to 10 percent.
RaceChip strapped the French sports car to the dyno before and after the mods, revealing the numbers side by side on the screen. Subsequently, they unleashed it on the highway, measuring the 100-200 km/h (62-124 mph) acceleration in both cases.
The tuned A110 is 12 PS (12 hp / 9 kW) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) more powerful than the A110S, which also gets a few other mods on top of the Pure and Legende versions.
