Lexus Confirms Ux Reveal For Geneva With This Teaser

Lexus Confirms UX Reveal For Geneva With This TeaserJust last month we brought you reports that Lexus was planning to reveal the production version of the UX concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Now the Japanese automaker has confirmed that those plans will indeed come to fruition.
Lexus first unveiled the UX in concept form at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The basic idea is for a small crossover to slot in under the NX and take on the likes of the Mercedes GLA, Audi Q3, BMW X1, Acura MDX, and Infiniti QX30 in a rapidly growing market segment of compact luxury crossovers. The UX will bring Toyota’s luxury SUV lineup up to five models, joining the larger NX and RX crossovers and the GX and LX sport-utes.Not much else is known at this point about the production model, and there’s very little to be gleaned from the teaser image above and video below. But we’re anticipating both UX 250 and UX 250h models to incorporate four-cylinder engines – the latter with a hybrid assist. One way or another, we’ll find out more within the next few weeks.Along with the UX, Lexus will be showcasing the three-row RX L crossover at the other end of the spectrum, along with the LF-1 Limitless concept that debuted in Detroit – both marking their European debuts at the Swiss expo. There’ll also be two special editions of the RC F performance coupe on display – one called the Black Edition (with predictable parameters), and another marking the 10th anniversary of the Lexus F line.Of course, we can also expect Lexus to showcase the rest of its lineup, including the aforementioned high-riders, as well as the IS, ES, GS, and LS sedans, and the RC and LC coupes, in their conventional and hybrid forms.
