Lexus has uncovered the LC Convertible Concept ahead of its world premiere that’s scheduled for the 2019 Detroit Auto Show, next Monday.
Said to have come to life as their design team was "exploring the brand’s evolution", it’s described as "an LC in its most breathtaking form" and serves as a preview for the production model. "This concept takes the unmistakable design of the LC Coupe and reimagines it as a future convertible", said Chief Designer Tadao Mori. "It blends all the best aspects of the original Coupe with the dynamic design of an open-air convertible."At 4,770 mm (187.8 in) long, 1,920 mm (75.6 in) wide and 1,340 mm (52.8 in) tall, the LC Convertible is 10 mm (0.4 in) longer and sits 5 mm (0.2 in) lower than its fixed roof sibling. The wheelbase length has remained the same as the Coupe, at 2,870 mm (113 in).*Developing story
