Nissan Gt - R50 By Italdesign Hits The Track In Official Film

Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign Hits The Track In Official FilmShown to the public for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Nissan GT-R50 is now starring in an official video.
Created in collaboration with the famous Italian design house Italdesign to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both companies, the car was recently taken to Belgium and unleashed on Spa-Francorchamps.It didn’t, however, run against the clock or other highly powerful machines, as the sole purpose was to demonstrate the engineering that went into its development in a very racy environment during the 24 Hour event that’s part of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.The car’s next stop will be at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, for the Rolex Motorsports Reunion in Monterey at the end of the month. Also Watch: 735 HP VW Golf Mk2 Challenges Nissan GT-R, All Hell Breaks LooseWhile officially just a concept, the GT-R50 by Italdesign could still hit the assembly line. The automaker hasn’t officially decided anything yet, but if it shows up, then its production will likely be capped at 50 units, each of them carrying a starting price of €900,000 (a little over $1 million) in Europe. The striking design of the GT-R50 should be maintained, alongside the tuned twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that puts out 720PS (710hp / 530kW) and 780Nm (575lb-ft) of torque thanks to larger turbochargers and other re-worked or all-new internals. Moreover, the showcar that builds upon the Godzilla was fitted with Bilstein adjustable dampers, Brembo brakes and other parts that help set it apart more from the usual GT-Rs.
