Nissan Pulsar Hatch Sport Edition

Nissan Pulsar Hatch Sport EditionNothing says sport like a press photo-shoot on the track, but does it truly represent Nissan's new Pulsar Sport Edition? As you may have guessed, the answer is no.
However, at least Nissan's German division went a small step beyond the usual simple equipment upgrades we've come to be accustomed to when hearing automakers use the 'Sport' moniker calling in the help of tuning brand Giacuzzo, widening the compact hatch's tracks by 20mm via spacers and adding a Remus sports exhaust.

Additionally, the Pulsar Sport gets a blacked out grille, very NISMO-like red accents on the lower front air-intake and the roof with the latter dressed in a matte carbon fiber wrap, and which is also found on the exterior mirror caps, the rear apron and new roof spoiler. LED daytime running lights are also standard.

Nissan has priced the optional Sport Edition package at €2,350 in Germany, which they say represent savings of around €1,400 if the components had been ordered separately.

The dealer package can be ordered in Germany on Pulsar equipment lines N-Tec and Tekna with all engines in the range, from the 110PS (108hp) 1.5-liter dCi turbo diesel to the 190PS (187hp) 1.6-liter DIG-T turbo'd gasoline unit.
