Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti Can't Come Soon Enough

Subaru Impreza WRX STI Can't Come Soon EnoughForget whatever you were doing and take a look at the first rendering of the new Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
Based on the new generation of the car seen in New York, X-Tomi's interpretation of how the high-performance model may look like checks all the right boxes, starting with the aggressive stance given by the tweaked front end, continuing with the large rear wing and ending with the signature golden alloy wheels, with a multi-spoke pattern.

There's no doubt that the Japanese will eventually roll out a high-performance version of the latest Impreza, but the "when" part dips into the unknown and so does the one related to its performance. What we can tell you is that the standard versions of the car, sedan and five-door hatch, presented earlier in the week, will be powered, at first, by a revised 2.0-liter boxer gasoline powertrain rated at 152 HP.

Both of them are slightly larger compared to their predecessors and will be available with the company's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system along with a wide array of active and passive safety systems such as Lane Departure, Lane Keep, Pre-collision Braking, Sway Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control, offered at no extra cost.
