The 2019 Subaru Ascent will be unveiled at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show on November 28.
Previewed earlier this year with the Subaru Ascent Concept, the new three-row crossover will be bigger than ever. After its debut, the Ascent will be sold exclusively in North America and serves as a successor to the B9 Tribeca. We will find out more once the vehicle debuts later this month, but Subaru said the Ascent will be powered by an all-new turbocharged boxer engine.
The concept measured 198.8-inches long from bumper to bumper, making it about the same length as the Ford Explorer. It does however, ride on a wheelbase that is four inches longer, giving the Ascent shorter overhangs up front and in the rear.
Even before the concept made its debut, Subaru has been spied testing the production Ascent so its debut has been expected. Look for more details later this month as AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the L.A. Auto Show.
The 2019 Subaru Ascent is scheduled to arrive dealerships in North America by early 2018.
