Toyota Le Mans Race Cars Heading to Goodwood Festival of SpeedToyota fans attending this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will be in for a treat.
The Japanese automaker will be celebrating its Le Mans legacy at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed by bringing out four prototype race cars from the last 20 years, including its new TS040 Hybrid race car that will debut at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours race. The event will mark the first time Toyota has gathered up its Le Mans race cars for a public showing.

Joining the 2014 TS040 Hybrid will be three heritage race cars: TS010 from the early 90s, TS020 and the TS030 Hybrid that the automaker has been competing with for the last few years. The TS010 competed at the 1992 and 1993 Le Mans 24 Hours, finishing in second place in 1992 and fourth place in 1993. The TS020, more commonly known as the GT-One, was the first ever carbon fiber monocoque chassis designed by a computer for Toyota and was powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 600 hp.
