Toyota shows its fun side in all singing, all dancing adRemember seminal ’90s kids show ‘Fun House’? Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) seems to have re-imagined the concept for an adult audience in a sparkling new domestic market commercial for its vehicle range.




Entitled ‘The Fun Chain’, the ad is set in a cavenous multi-storey car park and sees a drifting GT86 set-off a chain of events. Highlights include the Prius C doing a wheelie, luggage doing its best impression of dominoes, a live soul band gigging on a rooftop, and the Dakar Rally Land Cruiser flying through a sheet of paper.

Designed to show that fun is engineered into every Toyota, the ad was produced by Japan-based ad agency Six Tokyo, a subsidiary of Tokyo agency Hakuhodo. It was directed by Tsuguhisa Tanaka.
