Entering the 2016 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) with a strong line-up up of 15 World Trophy, Junior World Trophy and Women's World Trophy riders, Yamaha are looking for podium topping success come the end of the week-long event that starts tomorrow in Navarra, Spain. Among the riders to represent Yamaha at the 2016 ISDE are Miglio Yamaha Official Enduro 1 Team's Jamie McCanney, 2015 overall ISDE runner-up Daniel Milner and Australia's defending Women's World Trophy Team champions made up entirely of Yamaha riders.
Kicking off on Tuesday, October 2 the 91st running of the International Six Days Enduro will see Jamie McCanney make his competitive debut aboard Yamaha's WR450F machine. No stranger to ISDE competition the Manxman was the Enduro 1 class winner at last year's ISDE in Slovakia. Representing Great Britain's World Trophy Team, McCanney will contest the Enduro 2 class at this year's ISDE.
Yamaha Australia's Daniel Milner returns to the annual event having his sights set on nothing less than the overall individual victory. Second overall during last year's event, the WR450F mounted rider is also focused on helping Australia's World Trophy Team defend their title.
Tayla Jones, Jessica Gardiner and Jemma Wilson - the trio of Aussie ladies gunning for a sensational fourth consecutive Women's World Trophy Team title, will also represent Yamaha at this year's ISDE.
Representing Great Britain's Junior World Trophy Team, Johansson Yamaha Junior Enduro Team rider Lee Sealey will contest the week-long event aboard his enduro modified Yamaha YZ125.
Originally called the ISDT, the six-day event is the first and longest standing annual competition in the FIM racing calendar, dating back to 1913. This year's 91st running of the ISDE will bring together riders from all corners of the world, with 22 World Trophy and 19 Junior Trophy teams participating.
The 2016 ISDE takes place on October 11-16 in Navarra, Spain.

"I'm really looking forward to a good week of racing in Navarra. It's going to be my first race on the WR450F and I'm excited about it. The 450F has lots of controllable power, which I think will help this week as many of the special tests are fast. I've spent the last couple of weeks training on the 450F and the feeling is great. The ISDE can be a tough race, but it's always a fun one. Without the pressure of the world championship, the plan is to do my best for Team Great Britain while trying to secure the best possible individual result in Enduro 2. It looks like it's gong to be a largely dry and dusty week. I'm hoping to start steady and just continue plucking away. I'll just take things day by day and fight for the best result."
