A Bride's Dream Can Come True With Dress From Disney Princess

A bride's dream can come true with dress from Disney princess

Brides can now transform into their favorite Disney princess and enjoy a fairy-tale wedding without waving a magic wand.

Such dreams can come true thanks to gowns inspired by princesses from Walt Disney Co. movies made by major wedding dress provider Kuraudia Co.

Fourteen designs featuring six princesses include Belle from "Beauty and the Beast," Ariel from "The Little Mermaid," "Snow White," Rapunzel from "Tangled," Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty" and, of course, "Cinderella," were unveiled Aug. 30.

To ensure these fairy-tale weddings have a happy ending, a selection of tuxedos inspired by six Disney movies are also available for the "princes."

The rental fee for a dress is expected to be about 400,000 yen ($3,600) with a tux costing 100,000 yen for the special occasion.

The Kyoto-based company will start to accept orders from hotels, wedding halls and dress shops from across Japan starting in November.

The dresses and tuxedos are officially approved by Disney through a licensing agreement.

Kuraudia said it joined forces with Disney because it wanted the garments to reflect the firm's commitment to an accurate view of the film company's universe.
