Farewell function held for cherished late police pooch 'Kinako'

MARUGAME, Kagawa - People accumulated to grieve the death of the previous police canine Kinako, who passed on of seniority on March 20, at a burial service lobby here on March 23.

The coordinators say they were permitted to utilize the lobby as an extraordinary support from a memorial service organization. Around 60 individuals from both inside and without the prefecture assembled to state farewell to the cherished pooch.

Kinako was a female Labrador retriever, and passed on at age 14 and 10 months. For a long time consecutively she fizzled a police puppy test, yet seeing the decided canine won people's hearts, and she was broadly appeared on TV and even in a motion picture.

At the goodbye service, Chisa Kawanishi, 33, a coach at Marugame Dog School where Kinako grew up, said mournfully, "Kinako perked me up with her grin. We can't meet each other any longer, yet I won't overlook the days we spent together."
