A passenger train derailed on Thursday after colliding with a truck at a railway crossing in Yokohama, near Tokyo.
Police say 32 people have been injured. The truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The collision happened around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday at a crossing on the Keikyu Line in Yokohama's Kanagawa Ward.
Keikyu says more than one of the train's eight carriages derailed. Footage shows the front car leaning off the rails. The truck caught fire, sending black smoke into the air.
A woman who was in the seventh car says there was a huge sound and the impact of the collision felt like an earthquake.
Train services between Keikyu Kawasaki and Kamiooka stations have been suspended.
