Princess Mako Returns To Japan After Finishing University Course In England

Princess Mako returns to Japan after finishing university course in EnglandPrincess Mako is back in Japan after completing a year-long course in museum studies at the University of Leicester’s graduate school in central England.
The 23-year-old eldest daughter of Prince Fumihito and Princess Kiko greeted well-wishers on her arrival at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Sept. 29.

Mako began attending the School of Museum Studies in September 2014.

In a statement released through the Imperial Household Agency, the princess said: “I have gained many experiences over the past year, which I hope to draw on from now on.”

During her studies, Mako traveled around Britain and was in contact with members of the British royal family.
