Railway services in the Tokyo area are getting back to normal after being disrupted by a powerful typhoon over the weekend.
Most train lines will be operating with regular schedules on Monday.
Japan Railway companies resumed normal operations on Sunday for Tohoku, Akita, and Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train lines.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen has resumed operation between Tokyo and Nagano stations. Services between Toyama and Kanazawa stations will also be available. However, between Nagano and Toyama stations train services will be suspended throughout Monday.
The Yamagata Shinkansen is expected to resume normal operations around noon.
