Usj Reopens For Osaka Annual Pass Holders

USJ reopens for Osaka annual pass holders

Universal Studios Japan in Osaka has reopened on a limited basis, having been closed since the end of February due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The theme park opened its doors to only residents of Osaka Prefecture who hold annual passes. Online registration is required in advance for the one-week period that began Monday.

Students and families were seen entering through the park's gates when it reopened.

Visitors are required to wear masks and have their temperatures checked.

A group of students expressed happiness about being there, especially after exercising self-restraint for the past three months.

From June 15, USJ will be open to Osaka residents who do not hold annual passes. From June 19, people from five prefectures surrounding Osaka can also visit.

People who live outside the Kansai region will not be allowed to visit for the time being.
