Fujikawa, an unrestricted free agent from the Hanshin Tigers, has agreed to a two-year $9.5 million contract, the electronic version of FoxSports reported, quoting major-league sources.



The Cubs will likely use the 32-year-old Japanese right-hander to replace Carlos Marmol, whom the team attempted to trade to the Los Angeles Angels earlier this offseason, FoxSports reported.
