Legendary Ski Jumper Kasai Sets Three Guinness World Records

The 41-year-old silver medalist in the Sochi Olympics has set Guinness World Records in three categories: the most Olympic appearances by a ski jumper at 7, starting with the 1992 Albertville Games; oldest World Cup winner, for when he won the 2014 competition at the age of 41 years and 219 days on Jan. 11; and oldest Winter Olympic medalist, for his silver medal run at the age of 41 years and 256 days on Feb. 17.
"I had been hoping to set a Guinness world record, but never thought I would be recognized in three categories. I'll keep doing my best and use these records as encouragement," commented Kasai.
