National Medal For Elsenham Karate Kid Connor



National medal for Elsenham karate kid ConnorEIGHT-year-old Connor Kemp, from Stansted, fought his way to a bronze medal at the English National Karate Championships.
The Elsenham Church of England School pupil travelled with his club Chadwell Heath Karate Academy to compete in Sheffield.




Competitors came from all over the UK to compete and this year their were more than 1,000 individual competitors.

Connor was entered into the team competition with team-mates Josh Lydon, eight, and Zack Attard, six.

The boys were in the U-10s open grade category.

They were one of the youngest teams in the category and fought hard over a two-hour period against a number of opponents.
