Japanese teenager Sara Takanashi nailed the day's longest jumps but had to settle for the silver medal in the second women's ski jumping World Cup competition on Saturday.
The 16-year-old Takanashi had a leap of 106.0 meters on her first attempt and 104.0 meters on her second run, but was runner-up to American Sarah Hendrickson with 258.0 points due to jumping style points.
Hendrickson made leaps of 103.5 and 103.0 meters to claim her 10th career victory with 264.2. Norway's Anette Sagen took the bronze with 245.1.
The World Cup competition is doubling as a test event for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
