Organizers of next year's Tokyo Olympics have released the results of a ticket lottery.
The Games' organizing committee made the announcement on Thursday on its ticketing website, which is accessed by registered personal IDs.
Those who entered the lottery can see how many tickets they've won for each event and how much they need to pay. Winners will also be notified by e-mail.
Purchases must be made by 11:59 p.m. July 2, Japan time. All winning applications will be invalidated after this deadline.
About 7.8 million tickets will be issued. The organizing committee has not disclosed how many tickets were sold and how many were requested, but purchase ID registrations surpassed 7.5 million.
