Wilmington Recreation Department to host karate classesThe Academy of Traditional Karate kicked off its Karate Kids Program with the Wilmington Recreation Department.
As part of the four-week course, the children learn about the ancient art form of traditional karate while learning valuable life skills.



The instructors have set a goal for the children to earn their first karate belt during the course. The Academy has been serving the Wilmington community for the previous 26 years, with programs specializing in developing confidence, focus and respect in students from ages 3 to 70.
