Investigators probing alleged bid-rigging involving test events for last year's Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics have raided more targets, including two group companies of major Japanese advertising agencies.
Tokyo prosecutors and the Japan Fair Trade Commission on Tuesday searched the offices of ADK Marketing Solutions and Dentsu Live, and other locations.
The Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee is believed to have played an active role in alleged bid-rigging involving the Games' test events.
Sources told NHK that the committee asked major ad agency Dentsu to compile a list of potential bidders for the events.

Tokyo prosecutors have served lawmaker Akimoto Tsukasa a fresh arrest warrant over new allegations of witness tampering in connection with a government-backed casino resort project.
The Lower House member is awaiting trial on a charge of accepting bribes from a Chinese company that aimed to take part in the project. At the time, Akimoto was a state minister in charge of Japan's integrated resorts, which include casinos.
Public prosecutors in Tokyo have arrested a lawmaker on suspicion of seeking false testimony in a court trial. Lower House member Akimoto Tsukasa has already been indicted in a bribery case related to a government-led casino resort project.
The prosecutors arrested Akimoto on Thursday.
Japan's former Justice Minister Kawai Katsuyuki and his wife Kawai Anri have been arrested by prosecutors over an alleged violation of the election law. Both are lawmakers, formerly with the main ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
