Acura Nsx Scienceofspeed Dream Project Brings Another Wing To Sema

Acura NSX ScienceofSpeed Dream Project brings another wing to SEMA

Acura rolled into SEMA last year with its non-hybrid NSX GT3 race car, that FIA spec-series competitor pulled to Vegas on a trailer behind a GT3-themed Acura MDX. Sticking with the GT3 theme this year but going road-legal, Acura worked with Arizona-based ScienceofSpeed on a GT3 package that NSX owners can put in driveways. The result is the lower, more powerful, more wing-y NSX "Dream Project."

Liquid-cooled injecting for the twin-turbo boosts output, adding 37 horsepower for a total of 610, and another 31 pound-feet of torque to register 507. A lightweight steel exhaust sheds 16 pounds and bestows those magnified numbers with magnified bass. A custom suspension drops the coupe by a little more than an inch, a custom iLIFT suspension add-on automatically raises the front axle two inches if the NSX detects a hurdle.

Nissan Leaf Nismo Concept Brings Better Handling And Aerodynamics

Nissan Leaf Nismo concept brings better handling and aerodynamics

At Nissan's "Nissan Futures" event, the company revealed a quick photo of the Leaf Nismo Concept that would be shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. Now the company has finally released official photos of the sporty Leaf, along with some details about what has changed. It sounds fairly promising.

Obviously the bodywork has been tweaked. We're pleased to say that our renderings weren't too far off. The main differences were red accents instead of blue, a big black stripe on the hood, and actually more conservative bodywork. That's somewhat understandable since Nissan probably wouldn't want to alter aerodynamics – and in turn the range – any more than necessary. According to Nissan, the new bodywork does help fight lift. It also looks suitably sporty and aggressive without being over-the-top.

New Olympus Tg-5 Improves 'toughness', Brings New Sensor And Tracking Functionality

New Olympus TG-5 improves 'toughness', brings new sensor and tracking functionality

Olympus has announced its latest 'tough' camera, the TG-5. It's the follow-up to the TG-4, one of our favorite rugged cameras, and features a new sensor and processor, advanced tracking capabilities, 4K video capture, Wi-Fi and more.

Where the TG-4 used a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, the TG-5 has dropped to 12MP, in order to improve image quality (according to the company). It uses the same TruePic VIII processor found in the E-M1 Mark II. The 25-100mm equiv. F2-4.9 lens is mostly the same, although Olympus has added dual panel glass to prevent 'foggy' due to rapid changes in temperature. The lens can still focus down to 1cm/0.4in in its 'microscope' mode.

Now we have in the past seen attempts to revive it via apps, but for those hankering for the actual thing, you might be interested to learn that Bandai has decided to re-released the Tamagotchi to mark the 20th anniversary since the toy had launched back in 1996/1997 (depending on where you were).
