Ghosn reportedly seeks damages over Dutch contract

A French newspaper report says Nissan Motor's former chairman Carlos Ghosn is suing the firm and Mitsubishi Motors for damages over the cancelation of his employment contract with the two companies' joint venture in the Netherlands.

Le Figaro said in its online edition on Wednesday that Ghosn filed the lawsuit with a court in Amsterdam, seeking up to 15 million euros, or more than 16 million dollars, in damages.

Avex's announcement on their official website stated, "On October 31, 2018, our contract with misono has been terminated. To her fans and everyone concerned, it would make us happy if you would please continue to watch over misono's activities."

On July 20, actress Nishiuchi Mariya (24) announced via Instagram that her contract with Rising Production expired on March 31. 

Nishiuchi reported, "It's been awhile. I, Nishiuchi Mariya, would like to announce that my contract with RISINGPRO Holdings Co. ended on March 31, 2018." She expressed, "I am extremely grateful to everyone at the agency who took care of me as well as to everyone who supports me." She also apologized, "I am sorry for worrying everyone for suddenly stopping my updates and activities, and also for making this late announcement.

Johnny & Associates have officially cancelled their contract with TOKIO's Yamaguchi Tatsuya. 

In a fax announcement titled "Notification of annulment of contract with Yamaguchi Tatsuya," Jonny & Associates wrote, "In dealing with Yamaguchi Tatsuya, on May 2nd during the press conference with the four members of TOKIO, there was an explanation of his decision to resign. Once again, today on the 6th, he expressed his strong intention [to resign] to our company directly." Based on that, "our company president and TOKIO leader Joshima Shigeru met today, and he decided to accept his request."

On Kalafina's official website, it was announced that Keiko's contract with Space Craft Produce expired on April 1. 

Keiko reflected, "These past 10 years as Kalafina, it's all thanks to many people who supported us and everyone concerned that we were carefully able to carry out our activities, make our dream of performing at Nippon Budokan come true, and reach our 10th anniversary year." She further commented, "Now that a journey has ended, I hope to move forward even more while bearing in mind my walk with everyone." The other members, Wakana and Hikaru, plan to continue their music activities.

On the January 30th issue of 'Josei Jishin,' it was reported that the actress had been facing money problems with the agency and would be going independent.

It's been revealed that YUKI's contract with Sony Music Artists has ended on September 30.

This was announced on October 1 via YUKI's official fan club site commune. To coincide with the termination of the contract, commune has stopped accepting new member applications as well as membership renewals. All services related to the fan club will officially end on February 28, 2018.

Up-Front Promotion has announced that Matsuura Aya has terminated her contract as of September 15.

Matsuura signed with Up-Front after passing an audition back in 2000 and made her solo debut with the single "Doki Doki! LOVE Mail" in April of 2001. In 2013, she married Tachibana Keita (w-inds.), and she is currently focusing on raising their daughter. Matsuura will transfer to Tachibana's independent management company.
