Fujifilm X-Pro3 Might Be Launched This Year

Fujifilm has several high-end mirrorless cameras, one of which is a rangefinder-style camera in the form of the X-Pro series. So far there have been two models: the X-Pro and the X-Pro2, and according to an earlier rumor by Fuji Rumors, it has been rumored that the X-Pro3 could actually be launched later this year.

Details about the camera are next to nothing at the moment, but according to the publication, they have recently received a tip from a source that claims that the X-Pro3 could actually be manufactured in Japan. For those unfamiliar, Fujifilm has taken pride at how the bulk of its cameras and lenses are made in Japan.

Fujifilm X-t30 Mirrorless Camera Announced

Fujifilm X-T30 Mirrorless Camera Announced

We have been hearing rumors that Fujifilm could be close to launching a new mirrorless camera in the form of the X-T30. Turns out the rumors were right on the money as the company has since officially announced the camera, making it the company’s latest mirrorless camera to date.

However this is the X-T30 which makes it the successor to the X-T20. This means that it is not one of Fujifilm’s higher-end cameras like the X-T3 or the X-Pro2 or the X-H1. However if pricing is a concern of yours, then the X-T30 is definitely priced lower than the flagship models and should be good enough to get you into the game.

Fujifilm X-T30 Registered Online, Could Be Announced Soon

If you’d rather not spend money buying one of Fujifilm’s high-end flagship cameras like the Fujifilm X-T3, X-H1, or the X-Pro2, then maybe one of the company’s mid-rangers could be of interest to you. In fact last we heard, the company could be working on a successor to the X-T20 in the form of the X-T30.

Now according to a tweet by Nokishita Camera, it appears that the camera might have already been registered at the Bluetooth website. While the registration does not explicitly mention the X-T30 by name, safe to say that given the rumors, there is a good chance that the camera in question is the X-T30.

Fujifilm X-h2 Might Not Be Released In 2019

Fujifilm X-H2 Might Not Be Released In 2019

The Fujifilm X-H1 was officially announced earlier this year, but there has been speculation that the X-H2, its successor, could be launched in 2019. While many have praised the X-H1, given that it is the first of Fujifilm’s new lineup, it wasn’t surprising that reviewers felt that there were certain things could be improved upon.

Unfortunately if you were hoping to see the X-H2 launched in 2019, you might be disappointed to learn that might not be happening. A report from Fuji Rumors cites a “trusted source” that the X-H2 will not be arriving in 2019. This actually makes sense when you think about it, because unlike smartphones that are typically refreshed on an annual basis, cameras aren’t replaced that often so launching a successor every year doesn’t make sense.

Fujifilm Exec Says They Will 'Never' Go Full-Frame

With companies such as Nikon and Canon getting into the full-frame mirrorless camera game, you would not be wrong in your assumption that other camera companies might want to get in on it as well, such as Fujifilm. The company has stated in the past that they do not have plans to go full-frame, but it was only recently that they have claimed that they will “never” go full-frame.

Fujifilm Unveils A Projector With Multi-directional Image Projection

Fujifilm Unveils A Projector With Multi-Directional Image Projection

When you think of projectors, most of the time these projectors are fixed meaning that they are mounted onto a shelf or onto a ceiling which then projects an image onto a flat surface, such as typically a wall. While this is fine, it does have certain limitations as in you will need to decide on where to place the projector before installing it, and relocating it after can be a hassle.

This is something Fujifilm is hoping to change as they have announced a new projector (which also marks Fujifilm’s entrance into the projector business) that offers up multi-directional image projection. This is thanks to a projection lens that is mounted onto an arm that can be swiveled up, down, left, right, horizontal, and/or vertical. This means that depending on the size of your room or your needs, the projector can be adapted accordingly.

Fujifilm Says A Full-Frame System Doesn't Make Sense For Them Now

In the mirrorless camera market, Sony used to dominate the full-frame segment, but with entry from the likes of Nikon and Canon, their position is certainly threatened. It also seems to show how there is a growing interest in full-frame mirrorless systems, although this seems to be a market that Fujifilm is avoiding for now.

Fujifilm X-t3 Is The Company's Latest Mirrorless Camera

Fujifilm X-T3 Is The Company's Latest Mirrorless Camera

Following leaks and rumors, it seems that Fujifilm has officially made the X-T3 mirrorless camera official. The camera represents the third device in the X-T lineup, where its predecessor the X-T2 was launched a couple of years ago, and sure enough as per the rumors, the X-T3 is actually cheaper (by about $100) than its predecessor.

That being said, so what are some of the changes that we can expect from the new camera? According to Fujifilm, the X-T3 marks the debut of a new 26.1MP sensor and is also capable of shooting 4K video at 60fps. Given that the X-T1 was criticized for its video capture capabilities, it’s nice to see Fujifilm pay attention and make improvements in leaps and bounds. In fact 4K at 60fps is actually better than the X-H1 which was supposed to be Fujifilm’s answer to cameras like the Panasonic Lumix GH5.
