A video starring Sexy Zone's Nakajima Kento has been uploaded onto Johnny's & Associates' official YouTube channel.

This video was uploaded as a part of the agency's project 'Johnny's Smile Up! Project' to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. In the video, Nakajima warms up a pot of curry, which he says will be his meal for four days to decrease the amount of trips to the grocery store. At the end, the arranges his plate of curry with nori (seaweed), pineapples, carrots, and raisins to make a "smiley curry."

Johnny's & Associates open Twitter and Instagram accounts for 'Johnny's Smile Up! Project'

Johnny's & Associates have opened Twitter and Instagram accounts for their project 'Johnny's Smile Up! Project.' 

This project was launched to support disaster-stricken areas from the heavy rain and flooding in summer of 2018. As a result of the spreading of the new coronavirus, Johnny's & Associates have been carrying out various awareness activities. All activities from here on out will be held as a part of the 'Smile Up! Project.'

Nakai Masahiro to leave Johnny's & Associates

On February 21, former SMAP member Nakai Masahiro held a press conference where he announced that he would be leaving Johnny's & Associates on March 31.

At the beginning, Nakai immediately revealed what the press conference would be about, "Are we ready? Can we begin? Is it too soon to say that I will be leaving the company? Well, I am leaving the company. Johnny's & Associates. Today I am making that announcement." As this surprised the press, Nakai left the room to get a fresh start and returned after counting down into the microphone. He declared, "At this time, I, Nakai Masahiro, would like to hold long interview in regards to me leaving the company."

Johnny's Jr. group MADE to disband on January 31

Johnny's Jr. group MADE have announced that they will disband on January 31. 

On their fan club site, the group announced, "We, MADE, would like to announce that we will be disbanding on January 31, 2020." Inaba Hikaru, Tomioka Kento, and Fukushi Nobuki will continue their activities as solo artists of Johnny's & Associates. However, Akiyama Taiga will be leaving the agency, also on January 31, to pursue a career in choreography.
