KAT-TUN announce new album & arena tour

KAT-TUN will release their new album "CAST" on July 18. 

This marks the group's first album since "come Here" was released about four years ago in June of 2014. In addition to their latest single "Ask Yourself," the album will include 16 new songs. Furthermore, Limited Edition B will contain a project song called "Kaori," and the Regular Edition will come with a bonus track. Both limited editions will be packaged with a DVD with Limited Edition A containing the PV and making for the album's lead track "Unstoppable," while Limited Edition B will include a special movie starring the members.

KAT-TUN's new single "Ask Yourself" will drop on April 18. 

This will be the group's first single after they announced that they will be resuming their activities. It's currently being used as the theme song for Kamenashi Kazuya's starring drama 'FINAL CUT.' The first press edition will include Kamenashi's solo song "Wonderful World," which serves as the theme song for NTV's 'Going! Sports & News,' Ueda Tatsuya's solo song "Ore Melody," and Nakamaru Yuichi's solo song "The way."

KAT-TUN, who have been on temporary hiatus since May of 2016, will be resuming their activities. They will sing the theme song "Ask yourself" for Kamenashi Kazuya's starring drama 'FINAL CUT' premiering on January 9.

The group made the important announcement on December 31 during 'Johnny's Countdown 2017-2018' at Tokyo Dome. The three also performed at the event for the first time in a long while. Nakamura Yuichi greeted, "Happy New Year," and Ueda Tatsuya declared, "KAT-TUN will restart in 2018," then Kamenashi announced that they will be in charge of his drama's theme song. In addition, it was announced that KAT-TUN will hold a concert at Tokyo Dome in April.

KAT-TUN tops Oricon weekly chart for 20 consecutive singles since their debut singlePopular group KAT-TUN’s 20th single “EXPOSE“, which was released on February 6th, sold 155,000 copies during the first week, and topped Oricon weekly single ranking. With this single, their number of consecutive singles topping the chart has reached 20, as they’ve been topping the chart since their debut single “Real Face” (released in March 2006).
