One of the original and most popular three-row family crossovers has been completely redesigned, and if you liked the previous version, chances are you'll like the incrementally improved 2020 Toyota Highlander. It's well-equipped with generous safety equipment and entertainment features, and is available with the best fuel economy by far thanks to its unique hybrid offering. That said, it is smaller than virtually all of its competitors, so if you plan to frequently use all three rows of seats and/or need lots of luggage space, it may not be for you.
We have yet to drive the 2020 Highlander, but will update this post when we do. In the meantime, you can find everything we know so far about it below.
The fearsome Nissan GT-R turns 50. The big 5-0. The half-century mark. And to celebrate, Nissan's engineers have plumbed the depths of Godzilla-ness to offer the 2020 Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition in time for the New York Auto Show.
The 50th Anniversary edition comes in three color combinations that evoke Japan GP Series racing liveries of the past, especially Bayside Blue, which has been retired since the R-34, done up in a four-coat double-heat treatment that promises the deepest of blue hues. The other combinations are Pearl White with red stripes and Super Silver with white stripes. All have color accents on the wheels as well. All get a gray interior, a unique steering wheel and shifter, Alcantara headliner and visors, along with embossed seats and other anniversary badging.
TOKYO — Japan's Toyota Motor Corp will offer free access to its hybrid-vehicle patents through 2030, it said on Wednesday, seeking to expand use of the lower-emission technology even as the global industry shifts toward fully electric cars.
The pledge by one of the world's biggest automakers to share its closely guarded patents, the second time it has opened up a technology, is aimed at driving industry uptake of hybrids and fending off the challenge of all-battery electric vehicles (EVs).
The 2019 Honda CR-V is one of the bestselling vehicles in the country, and while popularity doesn't necessarily go hand-in-hand with excellence, it most certainly does in this case. The CR-V is impeccably well-rounded with space, fuel economy, performance, value, safety and quality that betters most of its compact crossover SUV competitors. And while some of its rivals may be sportier, more characterful or off-road capable, none manage to cater to such a wide audience. We highly recommend any search for a small SUV include the 2019 CR-V.

When you install a new app whether it be on iOS or Android, sometimes it asks for permission, such as access to your camera, photos, microphone, notifications, and so on. For the layman, these permissions might seem a bit scary and confusing, and sometimes it can result in them saying "yes" just so they can use the app.
However what happens is that there are some apps that might take advantage of this to access certain features on your phone that it might not necessarily need to. The good news is that in the upcoming Android P update, Google will display notifications on background apps that are having access to the camera or microphone on your phone.
