Junkyard Gem: 2000 Subaru Legacy Gt Limited Sedan

Junkyard Gem: 2000 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Sedan

Due to the runaway success of the Subaru Outback wagon based on the third-generation Legacy, which appeared in North America for the 2000 model year, nearly all of the discarded 2000-2004 Subarus I find in my local Denver junkyards are these dime-a-dozen longroofs, mostly with H4 engines and automatic transmissions (though I do manage to run across the occasional rare H6 model). For a discarded example of the super-rare non-Outback Legacy GT sedan with manual transmission, I had to travel all the way to a Northern California car graveyard. Here it is!

2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport, Limited Announced With Bigger Flat-four

2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport, Limited announced with bigger flat-four

Subaru will address one of the Crosstrek's biggest shortcomings by making a 2.5-liter flat-four engine available in time for the 2021 model year. It will power the range-topping Limited trim and a new Sport-badged model.

You asked, and the Japanese company is listening. Tom Doll, the CEO of Subaru's American division, told industry trade journal Automotive News that many customers have complained about the 152-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has powered the current-generation Crosstrek since its launch. Put bluntly: It's slow.

2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition: More Speed, Less Weight

2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition: more speed, less weight

The Type R is the ultimate Civic from a performance standpoint, and now Honda has created an ultimate version of the ultimate Civic: the 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition. It's an uninspired name for an eye-popping limited-edition car, only 600 of which will come to America.

The immediately obvious change to the car is the Phoenix Yellow paint scheme that's exclusive to the Limited Edition. It's matched with a black roof, mirror caps and hood scoop, plus some dark chrome badging. Also noticeable are a set of forged 20-inch BBS wheels, the brand having been selected since it has produced wheels for the NSX and S2000.

2020 Acura Mdx Pmc Limited Edition Priced At $63,745

2020 Acura MDX PMC limited edition priced at $63,745

The 2020 Acura MDX PMC edition, first unveiled as a prototype at the 2019 New York Auto Show last spring and later shown in production form at the L.A. Auto Show this past fall, is finally arriving in showrooms. And that means we now have actual pricing: $63,745. That includes a hefty $1,995 destination fee, which is $970 more than the charge for a regular MDX and equals that of the NSX supercar. The total represents a $4,470 upcharge over the now-penultimate MDX Advance, at $59,275. What does $4,470 worth of extra specialness buy you? Let us review: Like the previous PMC version of the TLX sedan, the MDX wears trim-exclusive Valencia Red Pearl nano pigment paint, applied with a multi-stage process at the NSX factory. It's set off with gloss-black exterior elements including 20-inch 10-spoke wheels, roof panel, grille and surround, side mirrors, door handles, and antenna, with black-chrome exhaust tips. Inside, the seats are upholstered in black Milano leather with Alcantara inserts and red contrast stitching. Red stitching also appears on the steering wheel, door panels, center console and armrest, and headrests. Floor mats have A Spec logos, and metal shift paddles are also included. Besides the PMC-specific visuals, the model includes a full raft of features, including navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheels, adaptive dampers, LED exterior lighting, ELS Studio premium audio, second-row captain's chairs, surround-view camera system, and more.  Beyond the content, what makes the PMC edition unique is that it's partially assembled at the brand's Performance Manufacturing Center (thus, "PMC"), where the NSX is built. Production is limited to 300 units for the U.S. market, with another 30 for Canada. Related video:

Toyota Is Offering Free Limited-edition Supra Posters Right Now

Toyota is offering free limited-edition Supra posters right now

Regardless of how well it sells, the second-generation Supra is a future classic, and Toyota knows it. Thanks to its storied history, its unusual development genes, and its tuner-friendly nature, it's one of the most interesting consumer vehicles on sale today, and it has all the credibility it needs to become collector fodder. To proudly celebrate its creation, Toyota announced it is giving away limited-edition posters, as well as a few other free goodies. Despite having other ultimate driving machines such as the Avalon TRD and Camry TRD, Toyota chose the GR Supra to immortalize on the all-important free poster. Typically, these types of giveaways are seen at auto shows, but this freebie will be delivered right to the front door. Toyota posted the announcement to Twitter on Monday, January 20, 2020, saying, "Get your FREE limited edition 2020 GR Supra poster – a soon-to-be collector's item – to mark the rebirth of an iconic sport car." The sign-up is still open today, and we hope Toyota will keep it open while you get your orders in. After inputting full name, email, and address, the prompt alerts users the poster will be shipped in six to eight weeks.   The design, which is shown in the tweet below, uses a blueprint layout. Over a grid, front, rear, and side views display the car's dimensions, and a full-color image pops in Renaissance Red 2.0. The GR Supra logo is seen in the lower left corner, and a spec sheet fills out the rest of the space. The Supra on the poster is a Launch Edition, which has 19-inch matte black wheels, Brembo brakes, and gloss-red mirror caps.  There is no mention of how many copies of these things are available, but for those who don't get one, the image is available for download, as are ringtones and wallpapers on 2020grsupra.com/poster.
