2020 Subaru Ascent: An Update In A Minor Key

2020 Subaru Ascent: An update in a minor key

With the Subaru Ascent, Volkswagen Atlas, and Kia Telluride recently joining the field, the three-row SUV segment is as competitive as ever, so value is key to attracting buyers. For 2020, Subaru is keeping the Ascent's pricing the same but is adding a few new tricks. Albeit minor tricks, but new tricks nonetheless.

The most notable addition to the Ascent range is Rear Seat Reminder. Every 2020 Ascent will come standard with the increasingly common technology, which alerts the driver to check the rear seat for a pup, a child or both. The system operates not by sensors, but on the recognition of specific scenarios.

Minor update (47.2.A.4.45) lands on the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact

Sony Mobile has unusually released a very minor update for the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact handsets in some regions, moving the build number from 47.2.A.4.41 to version 47.2.A.4.45. The firmware remains with 1 December 2018 Android security patches, so it is likely that Sony added some other small bug fixes for the update. Strangely, the same update is not available for the Xperia XZ Premium, which normally follows the same build tree.If you have updated let us know your impressions in the comments below.

News' Members Koyama Keiichiro And Kato Shigeaki In Trouble For Drinking With A Minor

NEWS' members Koyama Keiichiro and Kato Shigeaki in trouble for drinking with a minor

The other day, some tabloid magazines reported that NEWS members Koyama Keiichiro and Kato Shigeaki were drinking with a minor. As a result, Koyama's activities have been suspended temporarily, and Kato has been given a stern warning.

On June 7, Koyama explained the situation on NTV's 'news every.' in which he serves as a newscaster. "She told me that she was twenty years old, so I had no idea she was a minor," he said. "Consequently, I participated in a drinking party with a minor and said things that enticed her to drink. I needn't say this, but this behavior is inappropriate as a newscaster on a news program. I am terribly sorry." He continued, "As such, I will be taking a break from 'news every.' for the time being. During this time, my activities have been suspended, and I will use this time to take another good look at myself."
