Much of the coverage about Huawei’s P series of smartphones has been concentrated around the upcoming P20 handsets. The company is due to launch the new handsets on March 27th in Paris and they’re certainly come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Before it launches them, though, Huawei has rolled out the Oreo update for the P10 and P10 Plus.
Huawei launched a beta test for the P10 Oreo update about two months ago and that has finally concluded with the release of the public build of Oreo for these handsets. The confirmation comes from the official Huawei Philippines Facebook page which revealed that the update will soon be rolling out to users.
We know very little about Sony Mobile's Xperia R1 and R1 Plus devices, which launched late last year. Both handsets were released exclusively into the Indian market, but software does not appear to be managed on Sony's usual servers, as we've never been able to obtain the firmware files like we can for all other Xperia devices.
Now that February is over, Sony has revealed the free PlayStation Plus games lineup for the coming month. Those who subscribe to the service will be happy to know that one of the games in March 2018’s lineup is Bloodborne. The award-winning action RPG has been very well received and PlayStation Plus owners will now be able to get it for free.
Bloodborne will have players hunting their nightmares as they search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam that’s cursed with a strange illness that’s rapidly spreading through the streets.
When the Nokia 7 was launched, it was a phone that was limited to China, but word on the street has it that HMD Global might have a new Nokia 7 Plus smartphone in the works that could hopefully find its way to other markets. According to a post on Baidu (via NPU), additional specs might have been leaked.
According to the latest leak, it "confirms" that the phone could pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which is what we had heard previously from benchmarks. It also seems to hint that the phone could come with a dual-lens camera on its back, with a 12MP + 13MP combo with a Zeiss lens with 2x optical zoom.

Featuring two new Operators from South Korea’s 707th Special Mission Battalion and one new Operator from Poland’s GROM unit, Operation White Noise also comes with a new map set high above the city’s skyline, in the Mok Myeok observation tower where attackers and defenders will battle it out at higher altitudes than normal.
“The objective for White Noise is to alter the meta and current tactics,” says Alexandre Remy, brand director on Rainbow Six Siege. “We want to have a season that’s about intel and communication.”

Sony Mobile has started to roll a new firmware update for the Xperia Z5 range (including Z5 Compact & Z5 Premium), as well as the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet. This new update keeps the handset on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and moves the build number from 32.4.A.0.160 to version 32.4.A.1.54. The Android security patch has been updated to 1 September 2017 (from 1 June previously), but little else appears to have changed from a quick first initial view.
[CEATEC 2017] With virtual reality (VR) technology, the idea is to create an environment that is immersive for the user. This is done through VR headsets which lets users feel like they are in the world itself, and sometimes with headphones and audio technology to create spatial audio and immerse the user even further.
However there are also other ways of making users feel more immersed, and one of those ways is through the motion controllers which ALPS is demonstrating at CEATEC 2017 this year. This is not the first time the company has unveiled the controllers, but this year the company's Haptic Trigger Plus controllers are back and are more evolved than before.
