Hitachi now offers its CP-AW252WN ultra short throw 3LCD projector, which combines an array of versatile features including a new Projector Quick Connection iOS App, a Projector Cloning function and in a compact, cost-effective design. The networkable, ultraportable CP-AW252WN can project a 100-inch (diagonal) image at just 15.4 inches from the front of the projector, making it ideal for use in educational and commercial applications where space is limited yet where bright, clear image quality is required.
NEC , a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today its UM Series of ultra short throw multimedia projectors. The 3300-lumen UM330X and UM330W pack a multitude of features while delivering an extremely short throw distance for education and corporate applications.
Canon, world-leader in imaging solutions, has launched a new compact, light-weight USB-powered scanner for mobile workers enabling productive document capture and processing of information on the go. The imageFORMULA P-208’s attractive design and easy operation will also appeal to personal and home users for scanning photos and household bills.
Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe (FSEU) today announced the addition of a new small package to the MB85RC16, the 16kbit ultra low-power Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) device with an I2C interface. Fujitsu has been supplying MB85RC16 with standard package SOP-8. The new SON-8 plastic LCC (Leadless Chip Carrier) package with a dimension of 3x2 mm reduces the mounting space by 80 per cent in comparison to the SOP-8 package (see appendix figure 1).
For this lens, Fujifilm has upgraded its optical shake compensation, to further increase the precision of correction for camera shake, which tends to occur at long focal lengths.
Canon , a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the RS-IL04UL Ultra Long Focus Zoom Lens which can be used with the Company's REALiS Professional A/V Series projectors to bring high-image quality to a wide variety of locations. With this lens, users have the flexibility of installing their professional A/V systems anywhere from 15 to 290 feet from the desired projection area with minimal image quality change.
Murata launched the UCR100 series of DC-DC converters from Murata Power Solutions designed specifically for railway power conversion and battery applications. Accommodating an ultra wide 8:1 input range, from 16.8 to 137.5 VDC, the UCR100 series comprises 3 single output models providing 5, 12, or 24 VDC outputs. Additional model-specific options include current share, holdup and an adjustable undervoltage lockout feature.
OKI recently developed a human-detecting sensor technology capable of distinguishing between large movements (for example, a person walking about a room) to minute movements like breathing. This technology can detect even the minute movements of otherwise motionless persons, making it suitable for use in various applications, including advance warnings of health problems.
The camera, "Cyber-shot DSC-RX1," is equipped with a "35mm full-size" CMOS image sensor, which is used only for high-end SLR (single-lens reflex) cameras, and will be launched Nov 16, 2012.
Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe (FSEU) has demonstrated the transmission of >100Gbps over a single CEI-28G-VSR channel, effectively quadrupling the data rate throughput defined by the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) for this chip-to-chip electrical interface. This serves as a benchmark for what can be achieved over short-reach electrical channels using the same field-proven CMOS converter technology deployed in long-haul optical transport systems today.
