NEC had a prototype of the LT-W on hand in Las Vegas at an event last night.
The device is comprised of a pair of 7? resistive-touch displays and runs on Android. The mobile OS has been customized to work with the dual display setup. On the back of the left display is a 3MP camera.
Inside the LT-W is an ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.
The NEC LT-W is definitely a cool concept, but NEC’s not quite ready to talk about actually selling the thing.
Connectivity includes WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, USB 2.0, SDHC and optional 3G. There’s also a speaker, GPS, and an accelerometer a.
NEC reckons the LT-W’s battery is good for up to five hours of runtime.
