Sony has released firmware updates for a few of its 2020 smartphones. The recently released Xperia 5 II has been updated to build number 58.0.A.22.21, which adds October 2020 Android security patches. In addition, its budget Xperia L4 has seen an update to 57.0.A.2.258, which also adds October 2020 patches.
Sony’s 2020 mid-range Xperia 10 II has seen a firmware update that moves the build number to 59.0.A.8.45, adding the November 2020 Android security patches. Sony does not include a changelog unfortunately, so there’s little firm way of knowing if there have been other small bug fixes or improvements.
