Leaks of the upcoming Sony Xperia devices, to be launched at IFA 2018, have been thin on the ground. Sony is expected to launch the Xperia XZ3, and the leaked image below might be the first press render of the device. It follows the same form factor of the CAD design leaked by @OnLeaks.
Thankfully, Sony has not adopted the silly obsession with notches that some manufacturers seem committed to pursuing. It also shows a single rear camera, rather than the dual camera used in the Xperia XZ2 Premium. It looks like Sony will continue to use a 2:1 skinny display, but the design emphasises much more curved glass than before. We hope this isn’t an 'edge’ display as seen with Samsung’s Galaxy models, which are ripe for unintended touches. We’ll bring you more details at the official IFA reveal on 30 August.
