Mega Man Legacy Collection Arriving On Nintendo Switch May 22

Much to the delight of some gamers, back in December 2017 Capcom announced that they would be bringing the Mega Man Legacy Collection onto the Nintendo Switch. However the company only stated that the games would be released in the Spring of 2018, which was rather vague, but now we have a more concrete release date.

Announced on the Capcom Unity blog, Capcom has confirmed that the Mega Man Legacy Collect and Legacy Collection 2 will be arriving on the Switch on the 22nd of May. According to Capcom, "Complete with brand-new features for Mega Man Legacy Collection and exclusive challenges for Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, you can enjoy busting ‘bots anytime, anywhere when both collections arrive as individual digital downloads on the Nintendo eShop and as a combo package at retail in North America this May."

For those unfamiliar with the Legacy Collection, the first bundle will include titles from Mega Man 1-6, while the Legacy Collection 2 will contain titles Mega Man 7 through to 10. In terms of pricing, Capcom will price the first collection at $15 as a digital download, while the second will cost $20.

Note that Capcom had also previously announced Mega Man 11, but unfortunately they have yet to announce a release date for the game save for 2018 as well.
