Nintendo Direct Will Now Take Place On September 13th

Nintendo had previously announced that it would conduct a Nintendo Direct presentation on September 6th. It would have been the company’s first Direct presentation after E3 2018. However, it had to postpone the presentation following the unfortunate earthquake in Japan’s province of Hokkaido. The company has now confirmed that it has rescheduled the presentation on September 13th.

The possibility that the presentation could take place on September 13th was mentioned in a report earlier this week. Word about the rescheduling came from the Twitter account of Platinum Train, a game that’s exclusive to Japan right now.

The purpose of Nintendo’s Direct presentations is to show off upcoming titles. The live streams have often been used to announce new projects as well. Some announcements that were previously expected to be part of this Direct presentation, such as the Pokemon-themed Switch consoles, have already been announced.

Nintendo has now officially confirmed that the company’s next Direct presentation will take place on September 13th at 3 pm PT. The stream will run for about 35 minutes in which the company is going to talk about the upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.

The Nintendo Direct presentation will be streamed live on YouTube. You’ll find it on the company’s official YouTube account.
