Nintendo Exec Wouldn’t Mind See Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare On The Wii U

Nintendo Exec Wouldn’t Mind See Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare On The Wii UCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available for next-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately it is not available on the Nintendo Wii U, and it seems that Nintendo wouldn’t mind if they got their hands on the game. Speaking to the folks at Re/code, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime stated that he would love to see more blockbuster titles arrive for the Wii U.

When he was asked if he thought it was a problem that some developers are skipping the Wii U, Fils-Aime was quoted as saying, “I would answer the question in a couple ways. Third-parties are bringing multiplatform content to our platform–Watch Dogs from Ubisoft, as an example. I would love to have Call of Duty on our platform. I would love to have any of the big blockbuster, multi-platform titles.”
However it seems that despite that statement, Fils-Aime also thought it might not necessarily be a bad thing that the Wii U is missing out on titles like that. In fact he stated that this allowed the Wii U to separate itself from either console which is currently in a very tight competitive space. “If you look at the other two competitive platforms, fundamentally, what’s the difference?”
