Sb Energy Begins Operation Of 2.8mw Solar Plant In Toyama

SB Energy Begins Operation of 2.8MW Solar Plant in ToyamaSB Energy Corp announced Nov 25, 2014, that it has built a solar power plant with an output of about 2.8MW in Fuchu-machi, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, and will start commercial operation of the plant Dec 1, 2014.

The plant is expected to generate about 2,671,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by about 820 households, per year.

The solar panel, PV inverter and mounting system employed for the plant are products of Toshiba Corp, Hitachi Ltd and Sanshin Metal Working Co Ltd, respectively. Mirait Technologies Corp provided EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services.
