Acura introduced the 2022 RDX last month and now the company has announced pricing will start at $39,300 when it arrives at U.S. dealerships on November 2nd.

Costing $900 more than its predecessor, the 2022 RDX features a revised exterior that draws inspiration from the redesigned MDX. Even in base form, the crossover comes equipped with an acoustic glass windshield, a panoramic glass roof, LED lighting units and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Moving into the cabin, drivers will find a new 7-inch multi-information display and a 10.2-inch infotainment system with speech recognition technology as well as Amazon Alexa, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The model also has leatherette sport seats with heating and 12-way power adjustment up front.

Other highlights include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and brushed aluminum trim. Buyers will also find an ambient lighting system, a passive entry system, a nine-speaker audio system, split-folding rear seats and HomeLink.

The model comes with a host of driver assistance systems including Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and a Lane Keeping Assist system. They’re joined by Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Traffic Sign Recognition Technology, Low Speed Autonomous Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection, and a Road Departure Mitigation system. Other highlights include a blind spot information system, a rear cross traffic monitor and automatic high-beam headlights.

The RDX with the Technology Package costs $41,950 and rewards buyers with acoustic front side glass as well as an upgraded infotainment system with GPS navigation and real-time traffic information. Other niceties include perforated Milano leather sport seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 12-speaker ELS Studio premium audio system. The model also comes with front / rear parking sensors and an Iconic Drive ambient lighting system with 27 different themes.

One step up is the $44,950 RDX A-Spec with the Technology Package. It boasts a sport appearance package as well as LED fog lights and 20-inch wheels. Buyers will also find perforated Milano leather sport seats with ultrasuede inserts as well as heating and ventilation up front. They’re joined by a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a black headliner and a 16-speaker audio system.

Continuing up the trim ladder is the $49,300 RDX with the Advance Package. It features smaller 19-inch wheels, but comes equipped with rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors and a surround-view camera system. The model also sports a head-up display, remote engine start, wood trim, and 16-way power front sport seats with perforated Milano leather as well as contrast stitching and piping. Speaking of the seats, there’s heating and ventilation up front as well as heating in the rear.

The $51,300 RDX A-Spec with the Advance Package is largely similar, but it mixes in elements from the aforementioned A-Spec variant.

Lastly, there’s the range-topping RDX PMC Edition which is limited to 200 units. It costs $53,300 and features a Long Beach Blue Pearl exterior just like the NSX Type S. Otherwise, it’s pretty much your typical RDX A-Spec with the Advance Package.

Regardless of which trim is selected, all RDXs are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system for an additional $2,200. However, it’s important to note all-wheel drive comes standard on the PMC Edition as well as models equipped with the Advance Package.

Note: Prices exclude a $1,045 or $1,995 (for PMC Edition) destination charge
