Tokyo Confirms 304 New Cases On Friday

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government says it confirmed 304 new cases of coronavirus infection on Friday.

This brings the total number of infections in the Japanese capital to 114,840.

The seven-day average of daily case counts through Friday stands at 273.6, unchanged from the week before.

Tokyo officials say 37 people are in serious condition, down two from the Thursday tally.
