On February 13, idol group Juice=Juice held a release event for their triple A-side single "Bitansan / Potsuri to / Good bye&Good luck!" in Tokyo. 

As reported earlier, leader Miyazaki Yuka will be graduating from the group as well as Hello! Project after their spring tour. During one of the MC segments, it was announced that she will be graduating after their Budokan live on June 17. "Budokan is a really big place, and it's also an unforgettable place for us. So I am very happy that this place will be my last," she commented.

TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE have revealed the PV for their new song "Hikaru yo." 

"Hikaru yo" will be released together with "Reborn" as the group's double A-side single on February 27. In the PV, the girls do a formation dance with four dancers who were selected from a back dancer audition. On the PV, Shoji Mei commented, "We shot the dance scene for the first time with 8 people, so it's more powerful than usual, and is a music video worth seeing."

Hiragana Keyaki change their name to 'Hinatazaka46'

Hiragana Keyakizaka46 have officially changed their name to 'Hinatazaka46.' They will also release their debut single (currently untitled) on March 27. 

This announcement was made on February 11 during a special program on SHOWROOM starring Kakizaki Memi, Kato Shiho, Saito Kyoko, Sasaki Mirei, and Kosaka Nao. The group's debut single will be available in Limited Editions A~C and a Regular Edition. Besides different coupling tracks, the limited editions will come with a Blu-ray with different content. The title track has already received a tie-up with fashion rental service 'Mechakari.'

Ikimonogakari will release their new song "Taiyou" on their major debut anniversary day, March 15. 

Ikimonogakari halted their activities and entered a 'grazing period' on January 5, 2017, then resumed their activities on November 3 of last year. "Taiyou" was distributed to fans who remained in the group's fan club during their 'grazing period.' It's the first song that the three members wrote and composed together.

MAX will release a new album, titled "NEW EDITION II ~MAXIMUM HITS~,"  in early summer. 

This announcement was made on February 11 during the group's concert 'MAX LIVE CONTACT 2019 ~HIT THE SPOT~' at Shinagawa Intercity Hall. After the main show, video clips of their hit songs including "TORA TORA TORA," "Give me A Shake," and "GET MY LOVE!" played on the screen, then the album's announcement appeared in big letters. MAX then took the stage again for an encore and performed "Dracula," which is one of the songs that will be included in their upcoming album.

Sakura Gakuin has unveiled the short PV for their new song "Carry on" on YouTube. 

The group performed this song for the first time during their one-man live 'The Road to Graduation 2018 ~Happy Valentine~' on February 11 at MyNavi BLITZ Akasaka. It will be included in their ninth album "Sakura Gakuin 2018 Nendo ~Life Iroasenai Hibi~" to be released on March 3, and the full PV can be found in its Limited Sakura Edition.

SKE48 Team KII member Obata Yuna has announced her graduation from the group. 

Obata made the big announcement on February 12 during Team KII's performance. Her last day of activities will be March 31, and her last handshake event will be on April 6 for their latest single "Stand by you" at MetLife Dome in Saitama. On her Twitter account, she stated, "I will enjoy my last days as an idol! Please continue to support idol Obata Yuna until the very end."
