2010 - 2013 Suzuki Kizashi | Used Vehicle Spotlight

2010-2013 Suzuki Kizashi | Used Vehicle Spotlight

Kizashi! It's just fun to say. It means something along the lines of "Something great is coming," an omen I remember fondly from 2009, when the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi midsize sedan was introduced to North America. When it did arrive, it impressed. It didn't set the world on fire or anything, but it was an entertaining, well-executed sedan that didn't look exactly like everything else on the road. It didn't look weird, just neat.

It was only on the market for a few years before Suzuki, sadly, retreated from the U.S. market.

Watch A Nissan Maxima Plow Into A Gas Pump In California

Watch a Nissan Maxima plow into a gas pump in California

The driver of a seventh-generation Nissan Maxima is extremely lucky to be alive after veering off a highway in California and slamming into a gas pump. The fiery incident was caught on tape by a nearby surveillance camera.

Firefighters in Ceres, a town about 80 miles south of Sacramento, told local news channel CBS 13 that the 23-year-old woman driving the sedan lost control on Highway 99 and jumped a curb before ramming into one of the pumps at a Shell station at speed. She was traveling with 4- and 5-year-old kids; miraculously, no one was hurt.

The Wait Is Almost Over For The 2022 Subaru Wrx

The wait is almost over for the 2022 Subaru WRX

The current generation of Subaru WRX launched seven whole years ago, and now it's finally being replaced this year with an all-new version for 2022. That's what Subaru has confirmed today with the release of the above teaser. Unfortunately, that's about all the company had to say about it.

Certainly there's some general statements about how it'll be exciting: "The newest WRX will be here so fast, it will take your breath away." But that doesn't exactly give you a clear idea of how much power the all-wheel-drive sports sedan will make, or what transmissions it will have, or any number of things. The teaser doesn't reveal much either, and thanks to thoughtful PR folks, the lower half of the photo was blacked-out so that Photoshop trickery won't show anything. We're just left with the knowledge that the car will launch at some point this year.

2021 Lexus Gx 460 Interior Review | A Competent Cabin ... A Decade Ago

2021 Lexus GX 460 Interior Review | A competent cabin ... a decade ago

The Lexus GX 460 is really old. How old is it? It's so old, I was still in high school when it launched. This generation of the GX launched for the 2010 model year, and it's mostly received cosmetic updates in the decade since. And few areas reveal that age more than this luxury SUV's interior. It's not all bad, but there's no question that it isn't exactly on par with the latest and greatest SUVs from other automakers. Or even its own. Let's dive in, shall we?

Climbing aboard the GX welcomes the driver and front passenger with broad, thickly cushioned chairs wrapped in soft leather. They're very much the kind of seats you sit on and not in, and with a decent amount of adjustment, they're quite comfortable on a commute or on a cross-country trip. Also immediately noticeable is the high seating position and huge amount of glass offering superb visibility in all directions. Between this and the GX's modest exterior dimensions, it's quite easy to maneuver.

Uae Adds New Toyota Land Cruiser To Police And Civil Defense Fleets

UAE adds new Toyota Land Cruiser to police and Civil Defense fleets

The 300-series Toyota Land Cruiser launched just a couple of weeks ago, but the Dubai police and Civil Defense have both added the new 300-series Toyota Land Cruiser to their respective fleets. The UAE's most populous city's law enforcement and emergency forces were among the first customer to take delivery of the new 4x4s, and already have them finished in their organizations' respective liveries.

Those who follow the activities of Dubai's police force will no doubt recognize the now-familiar green-on-white livery that adorns its fleet of vehicles. The organization has a habit of acquiring examples of the hottest cars on the market. Their fleet includes, just to name a few, an Aston Martin One-77, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador, Lexus RC F, McLaren 650S, Mercedes-AMG GT R, Nissan GT-R, Pagani Huayra and Porsche 918. Recently they even air-shipped their Mercedes SLS to Italy to take part in the Mille Miglia rally. The Land Cruiser is just the latest "it" car to join their ranks.

Mitsubishi Could Race In Rallies Again, But Not With A New Lancer Evo

Mitsubishi could race in rallies again, but not with a new Lancer Evo

Mitsubishi could make a long-awaited comeback to the world of rally racing in the coming years. It's open to injecting more performance into its range, but its need for speed won't spawn a new version of the Lancer Evolution.

Speaking to investors during a shareholder meeting held in Japan, company boss Takao Kato explained the first step towards making quicker, more exciting cars was reviving the Ralliart brand in May 2021. "We plan to expand [Ralliart] to a wide range of models as genuine accessories first, but we will also consider involvement in rallies," the CEO stated, according to Japanese publication Response. Crucially, a racing program has not been approved yet.

2022 Honda Civic hatchback accessories offer an Si look if not performance

We found out recently that the 2022 Honda Civic hatchback won't be getting an Si variant. Only the sedan will be available in the mid-level performance trim. Of course, we're expecting the upcoming Type R to remain hatch-only. For hatchback buyers with a sporty bent, it looks like Honda will be offering a variety of factory accessories that will make your hatchback at least look like an Si, if not perform like one.

The parts you see on the car above have only been announced for Japan, but we expect they'll be available in the U.S. The reason being that the same type of accessories were offered here on the previous-generation hatchback. In fact, the wheels look nearly identical to accessory wheels available for the old car.
