Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition Announced For Smartphones

As you might have heard, Final Fantasy XV is expected to find its way onto the PC in the future. However if you don't really fancy yourself a PC gamer and more of a mobile gamer, not to worry as Square Enix has got you covered as well because Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition has been officially announced.

As the name suggests, this is the mobile version of Final Fantasy XV. Of course it won't be a 100% replica of the actual game, and instead it will feature a more cartoony chibi style of graphics which we have to say looks incredibly cute. There will be 10 episodes that players can play, although you will have to pay to unlock them, with the first episode being free so that gamers can get a taste of what's to come.

Nintendo Switch Eshop Now Supports Paypal

Nintendo Switch eShop Now Supports PayPal

One of the ways to purchase from the Nintendo Switch eShop is to add funds to your account, and this is done through credit card where you can choose to add funds that are the price of the game, or however much you want to. However the good news is that it looks like PayPal is now an option for gamers.

For gamers in the US and Japan, it seems that Nintendo has started to rollout PayPal support for the Switch's eShop, as you can see in the photo above. It should be noted that right now PayPal support is only for the US and Japan as it seems that other countries are not eligible for the support yet, but presumably this should be extended to other markets in the future.

Nintendo's Snes Classic Will Come With A Rewind Feature

Nintendo's SNES Classic Will Come With A Rewind Feature

Are games these days easier than games back in the day? We suppose it depends on the gamer, but if there's one thing that many can agree on is that games back in the day were considerably less forgiving, and that not many games came with tutorials that walked gamers through the features and functions, meaning that picking up a new game could be tricky.

Nintendo seems to understand this loud and clear because one of the features that is part of the SNES Classic is a "rewind" feature. As the name suggests, this rewind feature will let players turn back the clock when they screw up. So if you hate the idea of starting all over again, you can rewind back to the previous moment and try again, whether it be a tricky level, boss fight, or missed out on picking up on an item.

Nintendo Unveils SNES Themed 3DS XL Handheld Console

The next mini console that Nintendo will be launching is the SNES Classic Edition, but if you aren't planning to get the console but love the throwback to the good old days, you will be pleased to learn that Nintendo has also announced during Gamescom 2017 that they have a SNES-themed 3DS XL handheld console in the works as well.

This particular console will be launched in Europe on the 13th of October, and essentially what this is is a new coat of paint on an already-existing device. Based on the image, it seems that the console is meant to mimic the look of the SNES when opened up, and that the A, B, X, and Y buttons have also been colored like the SNES controller from back in the day, but other than that it is still the same 3DS XL console that gamers are familiar with.

Sony: XZ Premium clocks 750Mbps download speed in real-world test conditions4K HDR capability made headlines when we revealed XZ Premium back at MWC earlier this year.
The screen looks stunning, but we’re aware of the techie elephant in the room; 4K HDR files are hefty and a superfast network and a processor that can keep up are needed to download or stream them at a rate that won’t leave you watching the first episode when the season finale has already aired.

While longtime fans of the series will likely be invested from the get-go, expanding the world beyond handheld platforms opens its doors to a world of new possibilities… possibilities that I got to experience as a first-time hunter at Capcom's offices.
