Hunters' Association: Gun In Abe Attack May Have Been Modified

The head of Japan's hunters' association says the firearm used in the shooting attack on former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo may have been a self-modified gun.
Police say a shotgun may have been used in the attack.
But Sasaki Yohei of Dainihon Ryoyukai says a shotgun does not produce the kind of dry, popping sound that according to news reports, witnesses reported hearing.
He adds that he saw footage of smoke spreading after a shot was fired, but an ordinary gun would never produce such a large amount of smoke.
